Institutions can benefit from understanding how to build e-Learning curriculum effectively to support their students’ diverse learning needs. To ensure an institution can reap the benefits from their e-Learning program, Avalon Consulting, LLC has developed a process known as eCLIP (e-Learning Course Library Identification Process), which is conducted to determine course compatibility with e-Learning delivery methods. In this process, a consultant analyzes course content to determine the delivery methods necessary to optimize learning transfer and retention, reduce educational costs, expand student population through increased accessibility, and create reusable learning objects. In addition, the institution’s environment is analyzed to determine readiness for e-Learning.
