Tom is Avalon's Founder and CEO. He has over 27 years of experience in Computing Services, Software Development and Enterprise Consulting and is a company Principal responsible for establishing company strategy, oversight for technology selection, and management of services operations. Reidy's career roles have spanned hands-on programming, design and architecture, project management, operations management, business management, and executive leadership & planning. Before starting Avalon, Reidy was Partner and Vice President of Emerging Solutions and Technologies for Plano (TX)-based eVerge Group and also previously worked in technology implementation and management capacities as a Partner at CSC and EDS. Reidy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering cum laude from the University of Southern California. He also sits on the Board of Directors of ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship.

Casey is Avalon's Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and a company Principal. He has over 25 years of software industry experience and is responsible for overall management of Avalon's partner selection and relationships, marketing, sales and business development. Under Green's leadership, Avalon was named Partner of the Year in the America's for Vignette on three consecutive occasions and Partner of the Year in Avalon's first year as a MarkLogic partner. Before joining Avalon, Green was a key member of Microsoft's Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) licensing operations at Summit Software, serving as a Territory Sales Executive and ultimately directing all VBA sales activities for the N. American region. Prior to that, Green served as Product Manager at Antares Alliance Group and was responsible for the 1997 rollout of the EdgeworX web application development product which was awarded Best of Comdex. While at Electronic Data Systems from 1988 through 1994, Green held advanced engineer and architect roles in the delivery of enterprise-scale mainframe and client/server implementations. Green graduated with honors in 1988 from the University of Illinois earning a BS in Computer Science Engineering and a minor in Speech Communications. He also sits on the Board of Advisors for the Department of Computer Science & Software Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Brenda is Avalon's Director of Finance and Administration.  A Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Alexander has over 20 years of experience in the financial and accounting industry and is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating critical accounting functions.  Her experience is vital in the continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of Avalon's financial and information systems, management and operational procedures, and internal controls.  Prior to Avalon, Ms. Alexander served in Controller and Accounting Management positions in private industry following extensive accounting and tax roles with Coopers & Lybrand. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting summa cum laude and earned numerous accounting excellence awards from Angelo State University.

Randi is Avalon's Vice President of Sales responsible for ensuring our clients achieve maximum business results.  He has over 30 years of experience in information technology that includes consuming IT solutions as well as selling IT solutions.  Di Prima has served in many global software industry roles including general management of European and Latin American operations.  He has spent most of his career in executive management positions responsible for direct, channel and alliance sales.  Before coming to Avalon, Di Prima served as Vice President of Latin America for Axway Inc. where he spearheaded the creation of a new Brazilian subsidiary, grew major account sales revenue and created alliances with Brazil's most important consulting firms.  Prior to that, Di Prima was President of Canyon Lake Consulting where he assisted in developing and executing Sales and Marketing initiatives for high tech start-ups. He also served as Vice President of Global Partners at Birst Inc. working with cloud based analytics.  Prior to that, Di Prima was Vice President of Global Partners for Global 360 (now OpenText) creating new channels for business process management software.  While at Hyperion Solutions Corp. (now Oracle), he served as Vice President of Partner Sales and Latin America where he achieved record sales growth in analytics and financial applications. Di Prima graduated with honors from Lehigh University where he earned both a BS and MS in Industrial Engineering.

Doug is Avalon's Regional Managing Director for the Midwest and is based in Chicago, Il. He has over 20 years of IT services industry experience and is responsible for leading the company's growth within the Midwest Region. Gattuso possesses strong and balanced experience in the information technology consulting, systems integration, and outsourcing industries. He has held a variety of roles in Executive Management, Sales Leadership, Account Management, and Delivery Operations. Gattuso has a track record of success and proven expertise in developing new markets while establishing strategic relationships with Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to joining Avalon, Gattuso served as Sr. VP of Sales, Americas, at Utopia Global, Inc., a SAP Partner focused on Master Data Governance. Prior to Utopia, Gattuso was President of Neoris USA, an industry leading nearshore IT service provider. Under his four years of leadership, Neoris USA grew approximately 500%. Prior to Neoris USA, Gattuso was Managing Director and Partner at CSC Consulting Group, in Dallas, where he drove the sales and services organizations. During his time at CSC, he was also instrumental in the development and deployment of the company's Application Outsourcing strategy and the development of the CSC's Global WorldSourcing organization. Gattuso started his commercial career in the Systems Engineering Development Program within EDS' Commercial Insurance Business Unit. Gattuso achieved the rank of Captain in the United States Marine Corps and is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis MD. He and his wife, Julie, reside in in the Chicago area and have three children.

Green holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of North Texas.

He has experience in project leadership, strategic planning, and creating innovative solutions for ultimate client success. Prior to Avalon, Holshey was a Business Area Manager with ENSCO, Inc. and several other defense contractors. Holshey holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Frostburg State University and an MBA from the University of Florida.

Before joining Avalon, Nielsen was a Managing Consultant at EDS and previously held product management and marketing positions in the publishing industry. He is an honors graduate of Cornell University and holds an MBA from Georgetown University.

Stu is the Managing Director of Avalon's Minneapolis Consulting Practice.   He has over 30 years of experience in business, management consulting and information technology.  Prior to joining Avalon, Stu served as the Leader of Computer Sciences Corporation's (CSC's) Public Sector Consulting Practice, responsible for the State & Local government market in North America.  He also served as Senior Partner and Managing Director of CSC's Minnesota Business Unit in Minneapolis with responsibility for all clients in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, the Dakotas, Upper Michigan, and portions of Central and Western Canada.  During his career he has served clients in financial services, insurance, consumer products, transportation, manufacturing, utilities, technology, and the public sector.  Prior to CSC, Stu spent 10 years with KPMG Peat Marwick's Consulting Practice in Sacramento, CA and also served 10 years in the United States Air Force.  Stu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Science and Accounting from California State University, Sacramento.

Sean is Practice Director for the St Louis office in Avalon's Midwest Consulting Practice.  Hall has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and is responsible for managing the daily operations and growth of Avalon's St Louis presence.  Hall joined Avalon in 2006, beginning as both a Developer and Lead Architect in the company's Content Management practice and subsequently advancing into both Project and Account Management. He has led several major Avalon initiatives in the Financial Services, Health Care, Manufacturing, and Pharmaceutical sectors. Prior to Avalon, Hall was a Senior Developer and Systems Analyst with Verizon and both a Developer and large team Resource Manager with Afni, inc.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Illinois State University.

Wayne is Avalon's Vice President of Analytics & Data Science. He is responsible for delivery of Avalon's Analytics Services and developed the company's Analytics Framework™. He has more than 30 years experience in data analytics and enterprise consulting.  Prior to joining Avalon, Applebaum was a Principal Business Architect at SAP responsible for designing and leading the implementation of analytic solutions -- a role he also performed at Oracle before joining SAP. Prior to Oracle, Applebaum was Director of Business Development for Business Objects where he managed the global growth of the company's Extranet product line. Applebaum spent 17 years at EDS (now HP Enterprise Services) in a variety of roles including Director of Quality Measurement and Practice Director for Employee Disability Services. Applebaum holds an MA and Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Pittsburgh; he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The City College of New York.

With over ten years' online publishing experience, Demian has held positions in the online journals and medical textbook divisions of Elsevier Science, served in the data transformations group at PubMed Central, and was the Senior Developer at CQ Press, an imprint of SAGE Publications. A graduate of Brown University, Demian holds an MA in English from Oregon State University, as well as an MS in Information Systems from Drexel University.

Miles is the Search Practice Director for Avalon. He has over 20 years of experience in Enterprise Search. Prior to joining Avalon, he was Director of Professional Services at Lucidworks, where he was responsible for building and managing teams of both pre-sales and post-sales search experts. Prior to joining Lucidworks, Kehoe founded and served as president of New Idea Engineering, a Search and Analytics consultancy based in Silicon Valley. During his tenure at NIE, the company created and spun off, the first hosted "Enterprise-Search-as-a-Service". Kehoe began his professional career at Hewlett Packard where his early duties including providing PC support to the company's founders.

Kehoe completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology at Tulane University and continued into the graduate program in Computer Science at Purdue University.

In addition to writing for the Avalon blog, he participates regularly in industry conferences including Enterprise Search Summit, KMWorld, SharePoint Saturday, and the Data Summit, is an author of Professional Microsoft Search (Wrox/2010), writes at, and tweets as @mileskehoe and as @searchdev. He is based in Santa Clara, California.

He has over 15 years of experience in Software Development and IT and is responsible for consulting on open source and alternative technologies for Fortune 1000 companies and startups.  During his tenure, Chad has been responsible for full lifecycle development and delivery of large-scale projects across Microsoft and open source technologies. His career spans the financial, regulatory, wagering, government and media industries.  Prior to joining Avalon, Chad was Vice President of Technology at He previously served as Vice President of Software Engineering at Springbok Services, Inc and as Director of Engineering at TVG (Wagering).
